We launched our first product, UXfolio, in 2018 to help UX designers build meaningful online portfolios. It’s currently used by more than 200 thousand people across 142 countries. Following the success of UXfolio, we’ve started two other SaaS tools, this time for marketers.

 Copyfolio is also a portfolio builder tool for marketing professionals, with the goal to help marketers build their own personal brands. Ranking Raccoon is a small link building community platform built to solve the most mundane task on many marketers’ to-do lists, building strong backlinks for SEO.

We are looking for our next Product Lead, who will be responsible for the Copyfolio and the Ranking Raccoon products, including the two small cross-functional teams behind them. 

The two teams are made up of 9 awesome people (2 designers, 4 developers and 3 marketers), and your task will be to oversee their whole operation and ensure our products are going in the right direction and growing quickly.

We strive to build empowered product teams, where each team member has the necessary context to participate in important discussions and each team has an outcome-based objective and the autonomy to try whatever is needed to achieve their objectives.

 

What you bring

  • At least 3 years of product management experience.

  • Background in product development, design or marketing is a huge advantage.

  • Proven record of managing a team of 3+ people.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to see business opportunities. Understands market trends and shifts.

  • Accountability and highly organized work attitude.

  • Ability to talk with customers and shape our strategy and roadmap based on customer insights.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • This is a hybrid position with up to 2-4 office days per week in Budapest, so we’re looking for Hungary-based candidates. 

What you’ll do

  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics, track customer feedback, and leverage insights to make product decisions, ensuring that our products are growing.

  • Have a lively relationship  with our customers, talk with them on a weekly basis.

  • Nurturing team culture, making sure our teams are working well.

  • Organizing important team meetings, team buildings, facilitating quarterly objective setting sessions.

  • Supporting the teams in setting the right and ambitious objectives.

  • Own our end-to-end product lifecycle roadmaps, making the final decisions on what to build next.

  • Attending all product meetings, design syncs, user tests and interviews.

  • Keeping track of everyone’s weekly reports.

  • Collaborating with design, engineering and marketing leads.

  • Regular 1-on-1s with team members, tracking their personal and professional progress, and supporting them in their professional growth. 

  • Employer branding of our product teams: writing blog posts and social content about how we work and what we do, attending events and giving talks.

  • Close collaboration with our CEO.

  • Managing headcount and team structures.

  • Collaborating with HR in the hiring process of finding new candidates for the teams if needed.

  • Conducting recurring feedback and review sessions across the teams.

  • Taking part in improving existing processes, systems, and tools.

Introductory chat

You will have a short informal chat with Bia, and talk about you and your experience. She will tell you more about UX studio, and you’ll also have the chance to ask questions you may have.

Challenge

We will ask you to work on a challenge related to your position. You will have one week to work on it. This task is solely for the purpose of measuring your skillset, and we always give feedback on your work.

Final interview

We evaluate the challenges and invite the most successful applicants to a final interview, where you’ll have a chat with our Leaders and colleagues who evaluated your challenge.

Decision

After the final interviews we make a decision who will we make an offer to. No matter the decision, each candidate receives a personalized feedback and an update of the outcome.
